- Who regulates the day-to-day activities of the gambling industry?
In Victoria, day-to-day regulation of the gambling industry and activities is the responsibility of the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation (VCGR). On 1 July 2004, with the commencement of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003, the Commission assumed responsibility for the regulation of gambling in Victoria. The Commission replaces the Victorian Casino and Gaming Authority and the Office of Gambling Regulation
