Rules
Topic guidelines
This is a supportive, anonymous place for people affected by problem gambling to share their experiences and practical tips. We hope you will find comfort and strength in each other’s stories and feel less alone on your journey.
Good manners
Please be kind to each other and remember there may be children present! So please, no swearing, no insulting individuals or groups, no libel or slander (things that could damage the reputation of a person, business or organisation that turn out not to be true), no lying, no fabricating (making things up), no negative comments about people of different ethnic background or religion, no threats of any kind or vulgar humour.
If you see a comment that you feel is inappropriate, let us know.
A word of advice on advice
The comments, opinions and advice in these stories are from other people visiting the site, and are their own personal opinions.
If you are offering advice, be sure the information you share is as accurate as possible. When reading someone else’s suggestion, remember it is not a substitute for a professional's opinion. Also, what works for one person may not work for everyone. You are the expert in what is right for you.
